RIVERSIDE DOG PARK 4431 Hardy McManus Road Evans, Georgia Park Hours: 8am—Dusk RULES & REGULATIONS Columbia County Recreation & Events Department For More Information: (706) 863­7523 www.columbiacountyga.gov Where is the park located? 4431 Hardy McManus Road, behind Riverside Elementary School LAYOUT OF PARK Is the Park Patrolled? YES! The Riverside Dog Park is subject to patrol by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department, Recreation & Events Department Staff, Animal Services, and Code Enforcement. Are children allowed to come to the park? Owners must be 16 years of age or older. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No strollers, bicycles, or chairs are allowed in the off‐leash area. Who should I call if there is a problem? To report a problem, please call the Columbia County Recreation & Events Department at (706) 863‐7523. For an emergency, please call 911. ---PAGE BREAK--- Rules & Regulations: Use of this park is at your own risk. Handlers are responsible for their dogs and any injuries or damages caused by them. Dogs must be licensed and vaccinated with tags displayed on a collar. (Handlers must be prepared to show vaccination information). Dogs must be on a 6‐foot leash (max) prior to entering and upon exiting the park. No more than two dogs per adult are allowed. Dogs showing aggression must be removed immediately. Pinch, choker, and spiked collars are strictly prohibited. Handlers must collect and dispose of all dog waste in designated receptacles. Dogs must be within sight and under voice control of handler at all times. Dogs must be at least four months old to enter the park. Dogs in season or displaying of illness are strictly prohibited. Digging is not allowed. Animals other than dogs are strictly prohibited. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Smoking, alcohol, illegal drugs, and eating are prohibited. No glass containers allowed. No feeding dogs, dog treats, or rawhide chews allowed. No bicycles, skateboards, and motorized devices (except wheelchairs). *NOTE: The word handler applies to the adult person accompanying the dog(s).
