Columbia County Library Board Meeting March 8, 2022 • 11:30 am In attendance: Columbia County Library Board • Russell Wilder, Board Chair • Marianne Frye, Treasurer • Tripp Calloway • Marlena Bergeron • Stephanie Coghlan • Janet Wheatley Absent • Patrick Conley Library Staff • Mary Lin Maner, Library Director • Devin Morris, Regional Admin Coordinator Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 11:37 am. Approval of Agenda The agenda was approved unanimously and without comment. Approval of Minutes The minutes from the February meeting were approved unanimously without comment. Friends of the Libraries Checkbook balance = $53,692 Friends will be paying for some Summer Learning programs. Treasurer Report See Treasurer Report. CD was moved from Synovus to First Community Bank. Another CD with Synovus will be maturing on April 21. County Library Manager Report See Stat Report. Friends will be having a fundraiser, Putt Putt in the Stacks. The library will organize it and Friends will handle the money for it. Details are being worked out. Mary Lin shared our Hoopla demographic data and usage heat map. ---PAGE BREAK--- Mary Lin will be going to the Capital on Thursday, to hand out hotdogs to the legislation. We may be getting more technology money to spend this fiscal year. Alex did his outreach program at Brandon Wilde about online dating. Report New Business Unfinished Business None.
