In this role, the leader will also work collaboratively with fellow employees, organizations, and citizens to learn the desires of the community and promote interest in the County's programs and event offerings. Event & Program Highlights 115 Events & Programs with an annual attendance of approx. 100,000 with a budget of around $300,000 BOOM! in the Park - July 4th Over 18,000 people in attendance in Evans Towne Center Park, another 10,000 people within a mile of the park Christmas in Columbia County Month and a half long Christmas celebration that includes a Christmas Tree Lighting (8K-10K in attendance), lighted Christmas displays, weekly programming and an ice skating rink Food Truck Fridays event rotating between parks with attendance from 1-2K. Multi- cultural food vendors and live music during these three hour events Thunder Over Evans (Rental event) Hosted by a local business owner, this event features fireworks and music in celebration of Armed Services Day.
