Columbia County Library Board Meeting December 14, 2023 • 11:30 am In attendance: Columbia County Library Board Russell Wilder, Board Chair Tripp Calloway Dr. Sandra Carraway Lindsey Brantley Missing Windy Bedingfield, Treasurer Marlena Bergeron Barry Paschal Library Staff • Mary Lin Maner, Library Director • Devin Morris, Regional Admin Coordinator Other Glenn Kennedy, Deputy County Manager John Luton, Director, Community Services Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 11:32 am. Approval of Agenda No quorum. Agenda will be approved at January meeting. Approval of Minutes No quorum. Minutes will be approved at January meeting. Friends of the Libraries See Friends Treasurer Report. Treasurer Report See Treasurer Report County Library Manager Report See 2023 Wrap Up Stat Report. Report LibTech grant items have been ordered. ---PAGE BREAK--- Book Reconsideration Requests: Due to lack of a quorum, the board was unable to vote on any reconsiderations and has moved them to the January meeting. New Business: New Book Ordering Approvals Dr. Carraway and Lindsey would like more information on the titles that have been submitted for purchase, specifically information that the library managers use to make their determinations for which titles they wish to purchase. Next meeting: Thursday, January 9, 2023 at 11:30 am at the Columbia County Library. Meeting adjourned at 1:15 pm.
