Columbia County Board of Commissioners 630 Ronald Reagan Drive, Evans, GA 30809 www.columbiacountyga.gov Fee Schedule Adopted September 2023 Engineering Services Division STREET LIGHT TAX ASSESSMENT FEE SCHEDULE Existing Subdivisions/Developments (SLD-E) $100 / Lot / Year New Subdivisions/Developments (SLD-N) $60 / Lot / Year Once a Street Light District is created by the Columbia County Board of Commissioners, the properties within the Street Light District will incur a special tax (listed above) that will be assessed on the property tax bill. The rates listed here may be evaluated by the Board of Commissioners annually and are subject to increases or decreases as the cost of servicing changes. Collected street light taxes will be added to Columbia County’s Street Light District Fund, which is utilized to operate, maintain, and upgrade street light infrastructure. Street Light Districts in Existing Subdivisions/Developments created prior to October 2023 shall be assessed the New Subdivisions/Developments (SLD-N) rate.
