ORDINANCE NO. 2016 - 11 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1, CHAPTER 4, Section 1, OF THE CITY OF CODY CODE: GENERAL PENALTY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF CODY, PARK COUNTY, WYOMING: Title 1, Chapter 4, Section 1, of the City of Cody Code, shall be amended as follows: 1-4-1: GENERAL PENALTY Wherever in this code, except section 1-4-2 of this chapter, or any ordinance rule or regulation promulgated by any officer o r agency of the city under authority vested in him or it by law or ordina nce, any act is prohibited or is declared to be unlawful, or the doing of any a ct is required, or the failure to do any ac t is declared to be unlawful, the violation of any such provision of this code, or any such ordinance, rule or regulation shall constitute a misdemeanor and should be punished by a fine of not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00), to which shall be added court costs up to the maximum allowed by law. This Ordinance shall become effective at the final passage and publication in the Cody Enterprise as required by law.
