City of Cody Work Exempt from Permits • One story detached accessory buildings used as tool and storage sheds, playhouses and similar uses, provided the floor area does not exceed 120 square feet and the structure is placed in accordance with zoning regulations. • Painting, papering and similar finish work • Decks, platforms, walks, driveways not more than 30 inches above grade and not over any basement or story below. (Decks with supporting walls and roofs do require permits) • Window awnings supported by an exterior wall (residential construction only).
