The project funding has been awarded through a state grant from the Wyoming Business Council. We are accepting bids for the provision of equipment only. Installation will be provided locally by the Arena staff and local contractors. All proposals should include delivery to the site. It is the Center’s intent to install the seating in the Fall of 2014. Please refer to the attached specification sheet for details. The deadline for sealed bids is Friday, September 20, 2013, 2:00 p.m. M.S.T. When constructed, the project proponents accepted a donation of spectator seating from the Cody High School in order to preserve budget. That donated seating has now served its useful life. The Park County Arena board has obtained funding to install new seating in the facility through the Wyoming Business Council. This request for sealed bids is to provide: Telescoping Bleacher with Plastic Seats. All proposals will provide products which comply with IBC 300 -2012 Standards for seating. Bleachers will be complete, ready to install units, with intermediate aisles and safety rails as called out below. Electric Operation with Removable Control is required. The Bleachers will require a removable walkway in the front of the bleachers with Access Ramps/Stairs at each ends. A simple drawing of the proposed layout is below. The dimensions of the proposed bleachers are as follows: 8 tier by 60’ 0” - Ramp on one end of the walkway, stairs on the opposite end. Two intermediate aisles with handrails, Guard rails on each end. Accommodation for three handicapped spaces. 8 Tier by 84’10” - Ramps on each end. Three intermediate aisles with handrails, Guard rails on each end. Accommodation for four handicapped spaces. Elevated Access - Removable walkway between ice arena and Walkway partially extended seating. The provider will insure that the product offered complies with ICC 300- 2012 Standard for seating. Bids should include the necessary documentation which confirms compliance with that Standard. The attached simplified drawing details the spatial relationship of the Ice arena to the proposed seating. Respondents should be advised that field verification of the measurements is advised.
