All City of Cody Boards are established in the interest and benefit of City of Cody residents. Applicants must be able to commit both time and energy to the boards in which they serve in an effort to make fair, consistent and informed recommendations and decisions for Cody’s Governing Body. The following is a brief description of each board. For more detailed information please contact the person listed under each board. Airport Board – three year term The Yellowstone Regional Airport Board (YRAB) is comprised of 4 members appointed by the City of Cody and 3 members appointed by Park County. There is also one Council member who serves as a liaison on the board, but does not vote. In addition, Yellowstone Regional Airport receives 60% of its operational funding from the City of Cody and 40% from Park County. The YRAB meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 8:00 a.m. The Board directly oversees the Airport Executive Director, all budget aspects of the Airport and in general plans for the future by providing a means to operate and safely maintain an aviation facility adequate for the needs of the public.
