City of Cody Work Exempt from Permits One story detached accessory buildings used as tool and storage sheds, playhouses and similar uses, provided the floor area does not exceed 120 square feet and there are no electrical services provided to the building. The structure must be installed according to Planning and Zoning regulations. Painting, papering and similar finish work Decks/platforms not more than 30 inches above grade and not over any basement or story below. (Decks with supporting walls and roofs DO require permits) Concrete walks and concrete driveways not in the City of Cody’s street right-of-way. Window awnings supported by an exterior wall (residential construction only).
