The City of Cody Wyoming Invites your interest for the position of Public Safety System Administrator II $53,002.00 To $73,061.00 Annually Application Deadline: Monday November 1, 2021 THE POSITION Under the general direction of the Chief of Police, the Public Safety System Administrator II is responsible for providing support for the IT needs of the Cody Police Department, and managing various technologies to include body-worn cameras, in-car cameras, mobile data terminals, Motorola radios (mobile and porta- ble), cellular phone technology and forensics, the Public Safety Camera Registry System, and other innova- tive technologies utilized by the department now and in the future. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with experience supporting a public safety depart- ment and possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related computer field. The candidate should have experience performing above or related duties, including: TCP/ IP networking; Windows Server management; inventory management; video and radio equipment manage- ment; and computer hardware and software support is essential. The ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service skills, be friendly, patient and courteous. EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND WORK PROJECTS An immediate pending project will be to assist the Chief of Police and Information Technology Manager with the planning, development, procurement , implementation and supporting mobile users and Mobile Data Terminals (MDT).
