Check the Neck. The opening needs to be smaller than the base, or the widest part. 2. Remove caps, lids and pumps. 3. Empty and rinse it. 4. Bring to the Cody Recycling Center at 531 15th Street. -Bags, Film or Wraps -Toys -Medical Supplies -Large Plastic Items -Pesticide and Herbicide Containers -Motor Oil Containers -Solvent, Paint & Adhesive Containers -Tubs I.E. Margarine and Yogurt -Pails I.E. Ice Cream -Flower Pots and Garden Plastics -Food Storage and Microwave Containers -Trays THE ABOVE ITEMS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. What Plastics are NOT ACCEPTED? *Some clothing companies are now offering clothes that are made from 75-100% post-consumer content. *Did you know you can buy pencils that are made from recycled plastics and papers? *The Cody Recycling Center began accepting #1 plastics on January 1, 2008. With great success the first bale of #1 plastic was shipped out on February 29, 2008. *Due to the success of the #1 Plastic Recycling Program the Plastic Bottle Recycling Program was implemented in September of 2008. *Some items that are made from recycled plastics include: -Sweaters -Furniture -Sporting Goods -Office Supplies
