ORDINANCE NO. 2018 - 16 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 5, CHAPTER 3, SECTION 18, OF THE CITY OF CODY CODE: DUTIES OF A CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER; INTERFERENCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF CODY, PARK COUNTY, WYOMING: Title 5, Chapter 3, Section 18, of the City of Cody Code, shall be amended to provide as follows: A. The code enforcement officer, community service officer or other agent, officer or designee of the chief of police is charged with the duty of impounding animals in violation of the provisions of this chapter, and issuing citations to persons in violation of this chapter. Such officer shall be and is authorized to carry out and enforce the provisions of this chapter. B. No person shall interfere with, hinder, molest or obstruct any police officer, community service officer, code enforcement officer, agent or designee of the chief of police thereof, in the performance of their duties. This Ordinance shall become effective at the final passage and publication in the Cody Enterprise as required by law.
