ORDINANCE NO. 2016 - 07 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 3, Section 4, OF THE CITY OF CODY CODE: INSURANCE COVERAGE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF CODY, PARK COUNTY, WYOMING: Title 3, Chapter 3, Section 4, of the City of Cody Code, shall be amended as follows: 3-3-4: INSURANCE COVERAGE Before issuance of a taxicab license, or any renewal thereof, the operator shall furnish to the city a certificate or other evidence that all taxicabs to be operated under the license are covered by the following insurance: All taxicab operators shall provide public liability insurance with a combined single limit coverage of not less than five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) for public liability, property damage and bodily injury. Proof of insurance shall be evidenced by a current certificate kept on file with the administrative services director throughout the term of the license. Operators shall notify the administrative services director or his / her designee within ten (10) working days of the effective date of any change in the insurance coverage, the expiration of the policy or the cancellation or nonrenewal of the insurance in whole or in part and provide proof of new coverage meeting the requirements of this section. This Ordinance shall become effective at the final passage and publication in the Cody Enterprise as required by law.
