HB 1950 / Act 13 – Fee Assessment The Impact Fee – Year One and Two (2012 and 2013) q The fee is levied on all unconventional wells regardless of start date. For those wells started before 2011, they are assumed to be spud in 2011 for purposes of determining the fee. q Capped wells are included. q Wells producing less that 90,000 cubic feet per day are included. q Vertical wells are assessed at a lesser rate, 20% of total horizontal well fee. q Each well on a pad is counted separately.
