1 Village of Fair Haven Board of Trustees Agenda Meeting January 4, 2018 The meeting began at 6:30 p.m. Board members present Mayor James Basile, Deputy Mayor Walter Krehling, Trustee Holley Webster-Goolden, Trustee Judith Dunaway and Trustee Pete Hanford. Also, present Village Clerk-Treasurer Terri DiGregorio and Jay Sawyer with the CCWSA. • The Board of Trustees will meet with Village Attorney Norm Chirco on January 16th at 6:30 p.m. to discuss amending Chapter 113 Sewers and Chapter 139 Vehicles and traffic of the Village of Fair Haven Code; a proposed law for unsafe buildings; revisions to the procurement policy; zoning and rental properties. • The Village received a letter of interest in the Planning Board from a resident of Martville which is in the Town of Sterling. She will be contacted to find out if she owns property in the Village. NYCOM will also be contacted regarding a member holding dual positons on the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals. • The Board reviewed the training schedule for the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals members as they must take 4 hours of training each year. • The Board reviewed consent orders issued by the NYS DEC to the Village of Fair Haven in 1991, 1992 and 1996 regarding the septic system manage plan in the Village. • The Board reviewed estimates for design services for the expansion of the village hall as the Village is considering an application for a DASNY/SAM grant. • Mayor Basile and Deputy Mayor Krehling will be meeting with CCWSA Director of Operations, Jeanine Wilson and CCWSA Advisor Jay Sawyer on January 17th to discuss water rates to sell water to other municipalities. • The CCWSA is still looking for an easement to place a biox station at the West Barrier Bar Park. There seems to be confusion regarding the size of the easement. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 8:57 p.m. on a motion by Trustee Webster-Goolden and seconded by Trustee Dunaway.
