Village of Fair Haven Agenda Meeting October 8, 2015 The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. Board members present Mayor William McVea, Deputy Mayor Walter Krehling, Trustee Judith Dunaway, Trustee Pete Hanford and Trustee Holley Webster- Goolden. Also present Clerk-Treasurer Terri DiGregorio, DPW Superintendent Roger Granatiero, Deputy Clerk Johanne Van Der Linden, Ambulance Supervisor/Zoning Officer Stan Matthew Osterhaudt and Kevin Clark of Clark CPA, P.C. The Board of Trustees met to discuss the October 13th board meeting agenda.  Library Board of Trustees President, Matthew Osterhaudt, came to the village board to get permission to have some remodeling done at the library as the Village of Fair Haven owns the building. On a motion by Deputy Mayor Krehling and seconded by Trustee Webster-Goolden the construction was approved and the Village will purchase insulation for the project. All aye, motion carried.  On a motion by Deputy Mayor Krehling and seconded by Trustee Dunaway Mayor McVea was authorized to sign the 10/1/2015-9/30/2017 Penn Power Systems emergency generator maintenance agreement for generator at pump house. All aye, motion carried.  Kevin Clark presented the Board of Trustees with the Annual Financial Report Update Document for the fiscal year ending May 31, 2015. He also reviewed the Financial Statements and Supplementary Information report for the year ending May 31, 2015 with the Board of Trustees. On a motion by Trustee Dunaway and seconded by Deputy Mayor Krehling Mayor McVea and Clerk-Treasurer DiGregorio were authorized to sign the Clark CPA, P.C. letter of representation. All aye, motion carried.  Kevin Clark recommended the Board of Trustee reconsider the tax and water payment software offered by Williamson Law Book. This would allow village residents to pay their taxes and water customers to pay their quarterly bills on the village website. On a motion by Trustee Webster-Goolden and a second by Deputy Mayor Krehling the Board of Trustees entered into executive session to discuss the legal ramifications of an employee’s suspension. All aye, motion carried. On a motion by Trustee Webster-Goolden and seconded by Trustee Dunaway the Board of Trustees exited executive session. All aye, motion carried. On a motion by Trustee Webster and seconded by Deputy Mayor Krehling the Board of Trustees will proceed with Civil Service Law section 75 proceedings regarding a suspended employee. All aye, motion carried. Mayor McVea will contact Village Attorney Chris Palermo regarding these proceedings. The meeting was adjourned at 6:20 p.m. on a motion by Trustee Webster-Goolden and seconded by Trustee Dunaway. All aye, motion carried. Unapproved minutes respectfully submitted. Terri M.
