MEETING, TOWN BOARD OF GENOA September 9, 2015 A Regular meeting of the Town Board of Genoa, Cayuga County, State of New York was held at the Town Hall, 1000 Bartnick Road, Genoa NY on September 9, 2015 Present Lorie Sellen-Gross, Supervisor Mick Piechuta Cheryl Shields, Board Member Frank Sellen Don Slocum, Board Member Brandon White, Board Member Al Board Member Sue Moss, Clerk The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. by Supervisor Lorie Sellen-Gross with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. CLERK’S REPORT Report on Revenues from Clerk’s Office for August 2015 Certified Copies $ 20.00 Marriage License 17.50 Dog Licenses 121.00 Building Permits 1074.80 Disbursements for June Pd to Supervisor $ 767.50 Pd to NYS Ag & Markets 12.00 Pd to NYS Department of Health 22.50 RESOLUTION 52-2015 CLERK’S REPORT On a motion of Board member Shields, seconded by Board member White, the following resolution was ADOPTED Ayes 5 Sellen-Gross, Slocum, White, Shields, Nays 0 Resolved that the August 2015 Clerk’s Report be accepted ---PAGE BREAK--- TOWN BOARD MEETING September 9, 2015 Page 3 REPORTS HIGHWAY REPORT Frank Sellen Frank stated that Sill Road is done. He and a representative from the County Soil and Water Dept. walked Powers Road. They determined that the gravel on that road is gone from all the washouts caused by the heavy rains. Lorie suggested that Frank obtain a statement from the department to explain the situation. It can then be shown to the residents who attended an earlier Board meeting voicing concerns about the road. The Town is going to hold off for a while on a replacement for Matt Rejman who resigned effective August 31. Perhaps a new hire can also take on the substitute water department responsibilities. ASSESSOR REPORT None WATER REPORT Received after the meeting 2,525,800 - August total 81,400 - Average WATER COMMITTEE REPORT None HISTORIAN None BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS COMMITTEE None PROGRAMS AND GRANTS None RESOLUTION 53-2015 APPROVAL OF BILLS On a motion of Board member Shields, seconded by Board member the following resolution was ADOPTED Ayes 5 Sellen-Gross, Slocum, White, Shields, Nays 0 Resolved to accept the bills as presented. OLD BUSINESS The Board was informed that the Cell Tower Agreement was missing the three pages referring to “the Mortgage”. Lorie will cross out the wording on those pages, write “NA” across them, initial each page and return them. ---PAGE BREAK--- TOWN BOARD MEETING September 9, 2015 Page 4 NEW BUSINESS The tentative budget for 2016 was handed out and reviewed.
