Page 1 of 4 County-wide Agriculture and Farmland Protection Plan update November, 2013 Public Meetings BOCES in Auburn, November 13, 2013, 7 pm – 9 pm Moravia High School, November 14, 2013, 6 pm – 8 pm Cato-Meridian Central School, November 19, 2013, 6 pm – 8 pm Summary Information The following information is summarized from the sign-in sheets at each meeting.  One participant attended two meetings, BOCES and Cato-Meridian.  A legislative liaison for Finch attended the BOCES meeting as an observer.  27 attendees indicated that they owned an agriculture-related business; 22 of these people indicated that they were also farmers.  20 attendees volunteered to participate in a focus group (11 for Dairy & Field crops, 5 for Specialty Crops, 9 for Livestock, 4 for Agri-Tourism & Retail, and 2 for Local Consumer Access. Participants could indicate more than one focus group.)
