TOWN OF GENOA LOCAL LAW No. 1 of the year 1993 A local law amending Local Law No. 1 of 1992, A local law for FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION 1) Section 5. Subsection 1-5 Subdivision of Local Law No.1 of the year 1992, Town of Genoa, “A local law for FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION” is amended to read as follows: 5.1-5 ENCROACHMENTS Notwithstanding any other provisions of this local law, certain development in zones A1-30, AE and AH may be permitted to increase the water surface elevation of the base flood (e.g. dams, levees, etc.) provided that Town of Genoa {CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER} endorses application to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the permit applicant provides all necessary data and analyses and pays all fees and FEMA approval is received. 2) The act shall take effect immediately.
