Village of Fair Haven Board of Trustees Agenda Meeting November 8, 2018 The meeting began at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the agenda for the upcoming board meeting scheduled for November 13th. Board members present Mayor James Basile, Deputy Mayor Walter Krehling, Trustee Judith Dunaway, Trustee Christopher Drogi and Trustee Hope Wojtowicz. Also, present Village Clerk-Treasurer Terri DiGregorio and Ambulance Supervisor/Zoning Officer Stan Guests present 7. • Previously a meeting took place regarding the water line on Fancher Ave. shared by five property owners. A proposal to run separate water lines from the five properties with five or less water main taps was discussed. There is also a telephone pole containing a street light in the middle of one of the properties that could pose a problem. RG&E has been contacted awaiting a response. • Stan gave the ambulance report and will be hiring an ALS Technician to replace the employee that left several months ago. • Stan gave the code enforcement report. Items discussed were the status of the storage trailers on Stafford St. which is presently before Sterling Town Court; status of the remainder of sewer connections and the status of the Mayville property formally known as the Wash Tub Laundromat. • NYSERDA grant: In receipt of the PHEV Mitsubishi Outlander. It’s in the process of having emergency lights installed. • The purchase of radios for village vehicles and the office are being considered. • A separate meeting will be held on November 19th at 7pm to discuss proposed village hall renovations and proposed changes in zoning. • FEMA funds will be paid to the entities that were not reimbursed for their services during the flood. These invoices are up for approval at the November 13th board meeting. • Nanda Speciale submitted a petition signed by Fancher Ave. residents regarding RV’s along with sample laws from Sodus Point. Robert and Joni Taubman expressed concern regarding the right-of-way access to the bay that several property owners have the right to use. • Lou Gitsis inquired about obtaining a copy of the Village of Fair Haven Employee’s Handbook. • Tree removal will start next Monday. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Board of Trustees entered into executive session at 8:21 p.m. to discuss collective negotiations pursuant to article fourteen of the civil service law on a motion by Deputy Mayor Krehling and seconded by Trustee Drogi. All aye, motion carried. The Board of Trustees exited executive session at 9:15 p.m. on a motion by Deputy Mayor Krehling and seconded by Trustee Wojtowicz. All aye, motion carried. No decisions were made during executive session. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 9:16 p.m. on a motion by Deputy Mayor Krehling and seconded by Trustee Wojtowicz. All aye, motion carried.
