Local Law No. 1 of the year 2014 Village of Moravia, County of Cayuga A Local Law establishing the speed limit within the Village of Moravia Section 1. Speed Limit within the Village of Moravia. No person shall operate a motor vehicle or within the corporate limits of the Village of Moravia, at a rate of speed in excess of 30 miles per hour, except as otherwise posted. A violation of this Section shall be classified as a traffic infraction and shall be punished in accordance with the penalities established pursuant to §1180 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York. Section 2. Repeal of Section 7 of Chapter 4 of Ordinances of the Village of Moravia, County of Cayuga, State of New York. Section 7 of Chapter 4 of the Ordinances of the Village of Moravia, County of Cayuga, State of New York, entitled “SECTION 7. SPEED LIMIT OF 25 MILES PER HOUR”, is hereby repealed. Section 3. This local law shall take effect immediately upon its filing in the Office of the Secretary of State.
