1 Village of Fair Haven Board of Trustees Meeting August 9, 2018 The meeting began at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the July 16th board meeting agenda. Board members present Mayor James Basile, Deputy Mayor Walter Krehling, Trustee Judith Dunaway and Trustee Hope Wojtowicz and Trustee Christopher Drogi. Also, present DPW Superintendent Roger Granatiero, Ambulance Supervisor/Zoning Officer Stan and Village Clerk- Treasurer Terri DiGregorio. • The Board reviewed the DPW report with Roger Granatiero. Roger alerted the Board of Trustees that there is an exposed water main in a ditch on Main St. that will need attention before winter. Fire hydrant inspections will begin this fall. The County inmates were in the Village performing ditching today. • The Board reviewed the Code Enforcement report with Stan They are concerned about the Mayville property in the middle of the Village that was once known as the Wash Tub Laundromat and the storage trailers on Stafford St. The Board will look into the law regarding garages and sheds in the village street right-of-way’s. • The Board decided to cancel the electronic version of the Auburn Citizen. • Weed cutting on Little Sodus Bay is finished. Cayuga County Soil and Water conservation District reported around 450 tons of weeds taken out of the bay. • South Richmond Ave. is still under consideration to become a one-way street at some point. • Trustee Drogi requested Zoning Officer give clarification on the sign law in the residential and bayfront district regarding advertising homes for rent. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Board entered into executive session at 9:08 p.m. to discuss collective negotiations pursuant to article fourteen of the civil service law on a motion by Deputy Mayor Krehling and seconded by Trustee Drogi. All aye, motion carried. The Board exited executive session at 9:25 p.m. on a motion by Trustee Wojtowicz and seconded by Deputy Mayor Krehling. All aye, motion carried. No decisions were made during executive session. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 9.26 p.m. on a motion by Trustee Drogi and seconded by Deputy Mayor Krehling. All aye, motion carried.
