Cayuga County Board of Elections Inspectors: Registered voter enrolled as a Democrat or Republican, or 17 years old and enrolled in school Be able to work well with the public Must attend training session (usually 2 hour session) Work Schedule: 5 am until 10 pm for the General Election 1st Tuesday in November 11am until 10 pm for the Primary 4th Tuesday in June Pay: $200.00 for the general election $175.00 for each primary election $25.00 for the training session Drivers/ Delivery: At least 18 Registered Voter Ability to lift at least 70 lbs. CDL License preferred for the drivers Work Schedule: Day before elections (8am until approx. 2 pm) Night of elections (8pm until approx. 11 pm) Pay: 20.00 per hour Couriers: At least 18 Registered Voter NYS Driver’s License Collect Red bag containing the Compact Flash card from the Poll Site and deliver to the BOE in Auburn. Work Schedule: Election night be at poll site by 9:10 pm. and drive to Auburn BOE Pay: Minimum $50.00. More for distant towns.
