Town of Summerhill Planning Board Meeting Minutes September 20, 2018 Attending: Barb Harvey, Chair; Brian Stout, Vice Chair; Shane Baldino; Jeff Ten Eyck The meeting was called to order at 7:08 with the salute to the flag. B. Harvey thanked B. Stout for taking the July meeting minutes and getting them out so quickly. B. Harvey reported that C. Baldino told her over the weekend that all of the Planning Board minutes are now up to date on the Town’s website. Barb will check with C. Baldino on the Citizens survey tally and ask her if there is anything the Planning Board can do to help. Brian moved to approve the June and July Planning Board meeting minutes; seconded by S. Baldino. Approved unanimously with J. Ten Eyck abstaining as he had been excused from those meetings. Communications: B. Harvey reported there will be a Cayuga County Hazardous Waste Collection Day on October 20, and Electronics Recycling Day on October 6. It was noted that the June Planning Board minutes contain the Town’s Property Split Policy. B. Stout reported the Site Plan Review Training held by the County in July was one of the better trainings he had been to. J. Ten Eyck asked if the high-speed internet installations would go south of Route 90? B. Harvey replied that it would, but that the installations are being staged by census blocks so that area’s installation would be at a later date. The Board discussed the need to resume with the update of the Town’s Comprehensive Plan. The first order of business will be to collate the tally of the Citizens Survey. B. Stout suggested we all re-read the comprehensive Plan before our next meeting. Our next meeting will be October 18, at the Town Hall. J. Ten Eyck moved that we adjourn; second by B. Stout. The motion passed and the meeting adjourned at 7:38. Respectfully Submitted, Jeff ten Eyck
