PUBLIC HEARING, TOWN BOARD OF GENOA November 8, 2018 A Public Hearing of the Town Board of Genoa, Cayuga County, State of New York was held at the Town Hall, 1000 Bartnick Road, Genoa NY on November 8, 2018 Present Lorie Sellen-Gross, Supervisor Cheryl Shields, Board Member Don Slocum, Board Member Brandon White, Board Member (absent) Chris Stout, Board Member Sue Moss, Clerk The Public Hearing was called to order at 6:30 pm by Supervisor Lorie Sellen-Gross with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. The purpose of this Public Hearing is to hear public comment on the 2019 Preliminary Budget. Because of an error on the part of the Clerk, the required five-day notice was not established for the advertisement of this hearing. The notice will be republished on Friday, November 9th for the public hearing to take place at the regular Board Meeting scheduled for November 14, 2018 at 7 pm Tim Steed from Hunt Engineering will be at the November 14 meeting to bring the Board up-to- date on the Town Water Project. Members of the Genoa Historical Association met with Lorie to present bills for reimbursement. The bills will be discussed at the November 14 meeting. Lorie and Paul met with members of the DOT concerning specific road situations in the Town. Lorie was informed that New Visions has not yet obtained a permit from the State with regard to their fiber optic cable project to bring internet to all members of the Town. With no further business, on a motion of Board Member Shields, seconded by Board Member Slocum, the meeting was adjourned at 7:10 p.m. Carried unanimously. Susan B. Moss, Town Clerk
