1 Village of Fair Haven Board of Trustees Meeting September 6, 2018 The meeting began at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the September 10th board meeting agenda. Board members present Mayor James Basile, Deputy Mayor Walter Krehling, Trustee Judith Dunaway and Trustee Hope Wojtowicz and Trustee Christopher Drogi. Also, present Village Clerk- Treasurer Terri DiGregorio, Jake Gardner, Carrie Bolton and Jay Sawyer. The Diamond Maps system was presented to the Board of Trustees by Jake Gardner with New York Rural Water Association. He explained this is a web based system utilizing the cloud and can be accessed by any device. This system would assist in keeping track of water lines, water valves, sewer lines, fire hydrants, signs, etc. These locations would first need to be built into the data base and continue to be updated on a regular basis. The system can also generate work orders. The CCWSA is also interested and would pay half the annual cost for an enterprise license fee of $300.00 if the Village of Fair Haven decides to purchase the software. A single license would cost the Village $228.00. A location device may also be required at a cost of around $300.00. The EOS Arrow GPS receiver is used by the Village of Sodus. • The Board reviewed the DPW report with Carrie Bolton as Roger Granatiero was on sick leave. • The water leak at 14669 Fancher is scheduled to be repaired. This line that services five properties may need replacing. All five property owners will need to be contacted at that time. The corner of an existing garage appears to have been built over the water line in question. The ownership of the street light on that property will also be researched. • The garden club will be storing the 4 Main Street flower carts at the pump house storage building. • The Board of Trustees decided to order Village stationary cards and envelopes from Wayuga printing. • The Village will continue to have Cayuga County maintain the website at no charge and contract with Lezli Parsons to make changes and update the website.
