We appreciate your gift of time as a Museum/Educational Center VOLUNTEER Looking through our records we have found that you have volunteered your time and skills at the museum before or have expressed an interest in doing so in 2015. We need you to help us continue our program and services at the Museum and Educational Center. Funding from the County and the generosity of our Patrons does provide all the resources necessary to provide the quality of events and programs that we wish to provide. O’Hara Agricultural & Country Living Museum Dr. Joseph F. Karpinski Sr. Educational Center Is owned and operated by the Citizens of Cayuga County. We obtain partial support from the Cayuga County Legislature. That funding is not enough to carry on the quality programs that the Museum and Educational Center provide. We depend on the generosity of VOLUNTEERS LIKE YOU To carry on the programs! Remember The Big 6 Picnic Dates To Be Announced Thursday 4-8 Friday 4-8 Saturday 10-5 ______Halloween at the Museum Third Saturday in October 11:30 A.M.— 4 P.M. Fashion Christmas Second Sunday in December 11:30 A.M.— 4 P.M. Set Up Trees For Festival of Trees October 2016 _____Help Take Down and Pack Up Trees February 2017 Thank You We will be getting in touch with you as we need volunteers to help at the above events and activities Please Check Off Areas Where You can Help Please Check Off those items that you can help us with. Be a greeter at the door of the Museum or Ed Center _____Work in the gift shop during Museum events _____Make and serve popcorn at events _____Accompany visitors on a tour of the museum available in museum to answer visitor’s questions available to monitor and help with children’s activities _____Make and serve other refreshments at the museum events Be present in Ed Center library to help visitors _____Monitor and/or run children’s games at special events Help clean up after special events Prepare and serve food at special events Organize and run a museum fundraising event _____Cook and provide cookies for museum events _____Occasionally doing yard work in Herb Garden _____Occasionally doing yard work around the museum Occasionally do light carpentry work at museum _____Occasionally do light painting at Museum As You can see There is Something for Everyone to do Depending on your Skills and Talents
