Budget Workshop September 29, 2014 Council members present: Eleanor Pittroff Leonard Hand Lester Vandyke Michael Wiggins- Supervisor Others present: Victoria Davis, Lucille Craine Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance Account 9060.800 will rise due the federally mandated policy of providing a Summary Plan Description to each person receiving health insurance. Street lighting will be left the same for this year but will need to be reevaluated next year. Victory Fire Department contact has stayed the same, Red Creek Fire Department increased this year. Cato Fire Department contract will not be ready until middle of November. Mike spoke with other towns around the area that are not participating in the Mercy flight contribution and has decided to remove the contribution to Mercy Flight from our budget. The board also decided they will not be reimbursing the Highway Superintendent for lunches bought while paving.
