TOWN OF GENOA LOCAL LAW No. 1 of the year 1991 A local law to prohibit the squealing of tires. Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Genoa as follows: SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to squeal the tires of any motor vehicle while said motor vehicle is being operated on a public highway in the Town of Genoa. SECTION 2. The definition of Motor vehicle shall be that set forth in Section 125 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law, for purposes of title four of said Vehicle and Traffic Law as it exists or as it may be amended. SECTION 3. Any violation of Section 1 shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $100.00 or imprisonment in the Cayuga County Jail for a period not to exceed fifteen (15) days. SECTION 4. This local law shall take effect upon its filing with the Secretary of State. Note: There are spelling and other typographical errors in the document.
