SPECIAL MEETING, TOWN OF GENOA April 27, 2016 A Special meeting of the Town Board of Genoa, Cayuga County, State of New York was held at the Town Hall, 1000 Bartnick Road, Genoa NY on April 27, 2016 Present Lorie Sellen-Gross, Supervisor Mick Piechuta Cheryl Shields, Board Member Frank Sellen Don Slocum, Board Member Brandon White (absent) Al (absent) Sue Moss (absent) The meeting was called to order at 8:10 p.m. by Supervisor Lorie Sellen-Gross with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. There was a discussion of Powers Road at Don’s Marina. John Conner would like to fill in a ditch with a 6 to 8 inch tile and back fill of crushed stone for boat storage ease in and out at the Marina. After discussion with the highway department and board members, it was decided that it would be too problematic in the long run as the board is concerned with heavy water runoff now. This would have a greater impact on the problem. Lorie has been in contact with Clarity Connect. A pole will be placed on Cowan Road soon. The highway department is doing a lot of ditching on Town roads and Town right of ways. RESOLUTION 42-2016 APPROVAL OF FUND TRANSFER On a motion of Board member Slocum, seconded by Board member Shields, the following resolution was ADOPTED Ayes 3 Sellen-Gross, Slocum, Shields Nays 0 Resolved to approve the transfer of $13,934.47 (Water District Reserves 644) to the Water Fund 043 The Board went into Executive Session at 8:45 p.m. to discuss personnel matters. With no further business, on a motion of Board member Shields, seconded by Board member Slocum, the meeting was adjourned at 9:05 p.m. Carried unanimously. Susan B. Moss, Town Clerk
