TOWN OF NILES PLANNING BOARD Niles Town Hall, New Hope, New York August 17, 2017 MEMBERS PRESENT: Terry Green D’Allah Laffoon Bob DeWitt Nate Hatfield Sara Finizio, Secretary ABSENT: Bill Stinson OTHERS PRESENT: Charlie Mellor, Marilyn Mellor, David Wheat, John Miller The meeting was called to order at 7:31PM. Ms. Green asked everyone to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. Sara Finizio read the July 2017 minutes. Mr. DeWitt made a motion to accept the minutes as amended and Mr. Laffoon seconded the motion. All approved. NEW BUSINESS: • Charlie Mellor and David Wheat approached the Planning Board for final approval of a split and merger. Mr. Mellor to split 1.843 acres of land from a 10.918 acre parcel to Mr. Wheat. Tax map #148.04-1-5.1. Mr. Wheat plans to merge the 1.843 acres to his existing property located at 121 Sunrise Hill, Skaneateles, New York. Tax map #148.04-01-06. This merger meets all requirements for the Town of Niles codes. o Forms Received: Application for Subdivision Short Environmental Assessment Form (negative declaration) Survey Map Parcel Merger A motion was made by Mr. Laffoon and seconded by Mr. DeWitt for approval. All approved. OTHER DISCUSSION: • Mr. Laffoon advised the Planning Board members that a training session will be held August 24, 2017 at 7:00PM at Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES. The topic is National Resource Protection – A Regulatory Overlook. The next meeting is scheduled for September 21, 2017 at 7:30PM. ---PAGE BREAK--- A motion was made by Mr. Laffoon and seconded by Mr. Hatfield to adjourn the meeting at 8:07PM. All approved.
