EMERGENCY MEETING OF THE GENOA TOWN BOARD MEMBERS 2/28/2018 An emergency meeting of the Town Board was called to order at 6:30 p.m. to discuss our next steps in continuing Code Enforcement duties in the unexpected death of Mick Piechuta. Board members present: Lorie Sellen-Gross, Al Brandon White and Don Slocum. Cheryl Shields was absent. Gary Mutchler, Scipio Town Supervisor was present as well. We met with a possible candidate, Steve VanOrman. The job description and requirements as posted by Civil Service were reviewed. We also met with Patrick Doyle, the current Code Enforcement Officer for the Villages of Aurora and Moravia, and Towns of Owasco, Montezuma, and Locke. The Board went into Executive Session after everyone left except the Board Members. RESOLUTION 42-2018 APPOINTMENT OF J. PATRICK DOYLE AS CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2018 A motion was made by Supervisor Sellen-Gross to appoint Patrick Doyle as the Code Enforcement Officer for the remainder of the year. Motion was seconded by Al Lorie Sellen-Gross ----aye Al ---aye Brandon White ---aye Don Slocum ---aye Resolved that J Patrick Doyle be appointed Code Enforcement Officer for the remainder of 2018.
