Town of Summerhill Planning Board Meeting May 17, 2018 Town Hall Attending: Barb Harvey, Chair; Brian Stout, Jeff Ten Eyck, Shane Baldino, Christina Ripley, Secretary Absent: Tom Ripley Others Present: Clint Cornell, Linda Plunkett, Mary Osgood, Jason Clore The meeting was called to order with the Pledge to the Flag led by B. Harvey at 7:17 PM. Corrected Minutes for March 22, 2018 were approved. Motion made by Jeff TenEyck Seconded by Brian Stout Carried: 4 ayes Communications: Resignation letter from Christina Ripley-Baldino as a voting member of the Planning Board received. She will still serve as the board’s Secretary. New Business Split Application from Clint Cornell submitted and presented by Mary Osgood. Clint Cornell would like to split off the southern part of his property that is separated from the primary residence by State Route 90 and will be transferred to Mr. Clore. Mr. Clore has no plans to change land use as he will be using the land for forage and hay. Discussion was had regarding whether or not a survey was needed to make a decision on approving this split as it classified as farm land. Barb would to check with Real Property on survey vs. boundary agreements. Discussion was had regarding how prospective applicants submit to the Planning Board. Old Business Citizen’s Survey tallying is complete. Committee Reports No Reports. Action Items _ Planning Board will contact the county to verify whether or not a survey is needed and check on using boundary agreements instead of a survey. _ Mary & Clint will check the Abstract to see if there is a survey. _ Shane will start a template for a process for applicants. _ Chris will email split/merge flowchart as described by Linda. _ Barb will add the Cornell split to next month’s agenda. Motion by B. Stout to adjourn; second by J. Ten Eyck and approved unanimously. Next Planning Board Meeting will be Thursday, June 21, 2017 at 7:00. Meeting adjourned at 8:40 PM.
