Scipio Town Board Meeting The annual year end public meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM on Wednesday December 27, 2017 by Supervisor Mutchler with the following people present. Supervisor: Gary Mutchler Town Clerk: Tom Olenych Town Board Members: Howard Nelson Highway: Excused absence Leslie Baxter Code Enforcement: Mick Piechuta Mark Ferrari Gary Whitten Guests: Auden Ferrari, Mazarine Ferrari, Susan Deacon and Vivian Cunningham. Motion to approve agenda for the town board meeting. (Nelson / Baxter) All in favor. Issues to come before the board from town residents and guests. There were no issues from town residents or guests. Motion to approve the minutes of the 2017 town board meeting. Because of the new DRAFT format adopted at the December 13, 2017 regular town board meeting it was decided the approval of those minutes would be done at the regular town board meeting on January 10, 2018. Town Board Members reports: Leslie Baxter: None. Mark Ferrari: None. . Howard Nelson: Howard told the board he had contacted Lori Mithen-Demasi legal counsel for the Association of Towns, regarding the tentative town law prohibiting electioneering of any sort on town property. As of this meeting he had not heard back from her. Howard also talked about naming a replacement for him for the town offices solar panel project. Mark Ferrari agreed to accept these responsibilities. Motion to approve Mark Ferrari as the new contact person for this project. (Baxter / Mutchler) All in favor. Town Supervisor’s report: Supervisor Mutchler asked the board to approve an amendment to the budget to make appropriate transfers to cover any 2017 year end negatives. Motion to approve amending the budget for this purpose. (Nelson / Ferrari) All in favor. ---PAGE BREAK--- Supervisor Mutchler asked the board to approve an adjustment to the justice bill due to an error in the bill that occurred at the December 13, 2017 town board meeting. Motion to approve this accounting adjustment. (Nelson / Whitten) All in favor. Town Officers reports: Assessor: None. Town Clerk: None. Highway Superintendent: None. Code Enforcement: None. Other Business: There was no other business to be discussed. Approval of vouchers: General Fund 205 – 214 totaling $3,683.78 (Nelson / Whitten) All in favor.
