TOWN OF VICTORY ASSESSMENT OFFICE Assessment/REVALUATION TIMELINE 2018-2019 May 2018 Data Mailers (Property Description Reports) go out in the mail to all residential parcels for inventory update. May ~ December 2018 Receive Data Mailers and process inventory updates, sales analysis, formulate land table values, use computer-aided mass appraisal practices to help calculate new values, generate comparable sales to use for revaluation, update pictures and field review each property. May 1st 2018 Tentative Roll is published May 24th 2018 Grievance Day July 1st 2018 Valuation Date and Final Roll published January 2019 Exemption renewals go out in the mail. Assessor begins Saturday hours. Early February 2019 2nd Public Informational Meeting March 1st 2019 Taxable Status Date. All Exemptions due. Mid March 2019 Tentative Assessment Notices get mailed to every single parcel (whether or not there is a change in assessment). Informal meetings scheduled to meet with property owners regarding new assessment values. Informal meetings continue until week prior to Grievance Day. May 1st 2019 Tentative Roll is published with new values May 30th 2019 Grievance Day July 1st 2019 Final Roll published Revaluation Completed! (with the exception of any Small Claims Assessment Review Hearings)
