The DPW has addressed the weeds and the equipment stored on the village owned property at the end of Stafford Street. The CCWSA will be contacted to address rearranging their equipment storage in that area. A gate will be installed to limit access. • The Board reviewed the Ambulance report with Stan Stan noted the increase in ambulance calls this past month as the summer approaches. • The Board reviewed the Code Enforcement report with Stan He reported there are still a few residents that have not connected to the public sewer. They will be sent appearance tickets. One of the residents that did not have to connect due to being 100 feet from the sewer connection, has now failed the dye test, therefor will be notified that it is now mandatory that they connect to the sewer. Stan is also in the process of issuing property violations for tall grass and junk in yards. • The Board of Trustees authorized subscribing to the Auburn Citizen electronically at a cost of $9.99 per month. • The Board of Trustees authorized establishing a cable TV account with Spectrum at a cost of $6.99 per month for the HD box and a one-time installation of $99.00. There will be no additional charge for the service as the Village of Fair Haven has a cable franchise agreement with Charter Communications. Plans to purchase a larger TV is in the future for training videos, weather and news bulletins. • It was noted that over the past weekend DPW Supervisor Granatiero received a call from a resident requesting the water be turned on while the plumber was on site to ensure there were no leaks. Roger responded to the resident he could be there within 15 minutes. When he arrived, there was no one present and therefore did not turn the water on. The fee on the weekend for the DPW to respond for a seasonal water turn on or off is $75.00. • Gus Taft asked the Board of Trustees to authorize sending a letter to Finger Lakes State Parks requesting the roads at the Fair Haven Beach State Park be paved. He is also requesting the Town of Sterling do the same. Mayor Basile has already spoken with State Park representative Fred Bonn about possibly having the Town of Sterling be involved in the paving ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 8:38 p.m. on a motion by Trustee Wojtowicz and seconded by Deputy Mayor Krehling.
