TOWN OF GENOA LOCAL LAW No. 2 of the year 1983 SECTION 1. The Town of Genoa does hereby agree to confer the benefits of Section 18 of the New York State Public Officers Law upon the Employees of The Town of Genoa and the Employees of the Genoa-King Ferry Water District, and the Town agrees to be held liable for the costs incurred under the Provisions of Section 18 of the Public Officers Law. SECTION 2. The term Section 18 of the New York State Public Officers Law mean the provisions of said Section as enacted by Chapter 277 of the Laws of 1981 and amendments thereto as the same may be or become effective at any time or from time to time. SECTION 3. The term Employees means those people defined as “employee” as defined in Section 18 of said Public Officers Law. SECTION 4. This Local Law #2 of 1983 “does not change or supersede and New York State statute”. Note: There are spelling and other typographical errors in the document.
