Village of Fair Haven Board of Trustees Special Meeting June 19, 2017 The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. Board members present, Mayor James Basile, Deputy Mayor Walter Krehling, Trustee Holley Webster-Goolden, Trustee Judith Dunaway and Trustee Peter Hanford. Also, present Clerk-Treasurer Terri DiGregorio. Sand bags were removed from the pavilion and stored at the end of Stafford St. and the Teachout property. The West Bay Community Walking Trail planners expressed an interest in using the sand for the trail. The Board members have received many complaints from Bayfront residents concerning boaters violating the 5mph speed limit. The Village of Fair Haven will be applying for funding to repair flood damaged village owned properties on the bay. Mayor Basile will be contacting the Governor’s office regarding the application. The following properties have or may have damage once the water recedes: • Cottage Street boat launch • King Street boat launch • Standbrook Park dock and erosion • End of Lake Street where sewer pump station #3 is located • Lake Street culvert pipe • Little Sodus dock • Corner of 10th and Lake St. Ext. retaining wall • Phillips Park board walk • West Barrier Bar Park parking lot and beach sand washed out on Lake side. Village Attorney Chrico will be consulted on the Village owned property at the end of Lake Street regarding the boat house and docks located there as repairs will be needed for the retaining wall. The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m. on a motion by Trustee Webster-Goolden and seconded by Trustee Dunaway. All aye, motion carried Minutes respectfully submitted. Terri M.
