TOWN OF SUMMERJILL Special Board Meeting- Roof Bids May 29, 2018 Town Board Members Present: Susan Stout, Supervisor Christopher Ryan, Councilman Duane Reynolds, Councilman Daniel Ripley, Councilman Mary Osgood, Councilwoman Town Board Members Absent: None Other Officers Present: Christina Ripley Residents: None Visitors: None Guest: None Recording Secretary: Carol Chase The meeting was called to order at 7:07 pm by Susan Stout. All stood for the pledge to the flag. A. Opening Sealed Bids: No Bids were received. Motion 53-2018 Dan Ripley made a motion to run the ad again and add the Ithaca Journal and the Auburn Citizen as advertisers, seconded by Duane Reynolds. Carried 5 ayes Stout, Reynolds, Ryan, Osgood, Ripley. 0 nays B. Code Enforcement Update Susan has called 17 people and Chris has called 4. There is a young guy that is working in Scott that may be able to fill in until we can find someone permanently but Susan has not heard from him. Susan is open to suggestions. We have 21 open permits and 2 permit pending. Motion 54-2018 Mary made a motion to run and ad in the Ithaca Journal, Auburn Citizen, Cortland Standard, and The Shopper, seconded by Duane Reynolds. Carried 5 ayes Stout, Ryan, Reynolds, Osgood, Ripley 0 nays C. New Visions Lease Agreement: Duane would like to insert a clause that the electric supply issue be revisited in one year. Motion 55-2018 Dan Ripley made a motion authorizing Susan Stout to sign the lease agreement after the clause is added, seconded by Duane Reynolds. Carried 5 ayes Stout, Ryan, Reynolds, Osgood, Ripley. 0 nays D. Assessor Resignation: Linda will be resigning in September. She will be sending a resignation letter for the June meeting. Should we get a person from the County to serve as the assessor? ---PAGE BREAK--- Adjournment Motion 19-2018 Mary Osgood made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Dan Ripley.
