TOWN OF NILES PLANNING BOARD Niles Town Hall, New Hope, New York November 16, 2017 MEMBERS PRESENT: Terry Green, Chairwoman Bob DeWitt Nate Hatfield Sara Finizio, Secretary ABSENT: Bill Stinson D’Allah Laffoon OTHERS PRESENT: Debra Denman The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM. Ms. Green asked everyone to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. Sara Finizio read the October 2017 minutes. Mr. DeWitt made a motion to accept the minutes as read and Mr. Hatfield seconded the motion. All approved. NEW BUSINESS: Debra Denman approached the Planning Board for final approval of the minor subdivision of 2 acres of land from a 41.72 acre parcel. Property located at 4352 Harter Road, Auburn, New York. Tax map #155.00-1-14.21. The 2 acres contains a house and 2 garages. The 39.72 remaining acres will remain as farmland. o Forms received: Application for Subdivision Short Environmental Assessment Form (negative declaration) Survey Map A motion was made by Mr. DeWitt and seconded by Mr. Hatfield for approval. All approved. Approval is contingent on either creating ingress and egress from Harter Road on the 39.72 acres, or a merger with an adjacent lot owned by Ms. Denman that has ingress and egress from Gahwiler Road. On December 8, 2017, the Planning Board was notified that the culvert was installed for ingress and egress off to Harter Road on to Ms. Denman’s remaining acreage. OTHER DISCUSSION: Ms. Green reviewed the minutes from a Board of Appeals hearing that was held on November 1, 2017. The next meeting is scheduled for December 21, 2017 at 7:30 PM. ---PAGE BREAK--- A motion was made by Mr. Hatfield and seconded by Mr. DeWitt to adjourn the meeting at 8:20 PM. All approved.
