Purpose. The purpose of this local law is to grant real property tax exemptions as allowed pursuant to Section 467 and Section 459-c of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of New York. Section 2. Repeal of Prior Laws. This iocal law repeals and supersedes any prior local laws or ordinances with regard to Real Properfy Tax Exemptions for Senior Citizens and/or Persons with Disabilities. Section 3. Exemptions. Partial exemptions from real properfy taxation shall be granted to certain persons with limited income who are 65 years of age or over meeting the requirements set forth in Section 467 of the Real Property Tax Law of tbe State of New York, and to persons with disabilities and limited income meeting the requirements of Section 459-c of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of New York. Section 4. Schedule of Exemptions. The Town Board of the Town of Victory shall adopt, and from time to time amend, by resolution, a schedule of exemptions from real property taxation pursuant to, and meeting the requirements of Section 467 and Section 459-c of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of New York. Section 5. Incorporation of Real Property Tax Law. All of the provisions of Section 467 and Section 459-c of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of New York shall apply to this local law. Section 6. Effective Date. This local law shall be effective inmiediately upon its filing with the New York Secretary of State
