CITY OF CARTERSVILLE 2023 VISIONING SESSION ---PAGE BREAK--- 2022ACCOMPLISHMENTS • We’ve converted 51% of the streetlights to LED as of December 2021 and 41% of the area lights. • Assisted with restoration in September after Tropical Storm Ian, and also recently helped with restoration after the Tornadoes ravished the area of Bowling Green Kentucky. • Corrected deficiencies in the hourly rates of the construction crews which helped retain valuable employees and attract new ones. ---PAGE BREAK--- 2022ACCOMPLISHMENTS • The data collection needed for system modeling and to hopefully use with our pending AMI system should finally be starting Q1 of 2023. • Vogtle #3 commercial operation date is still on schedule for Q1 of 2023. The unit has been fueled and tested and passed certifications. Unit #4 is still scheduled for Q4 of 2023. ---PAGE BREAK--- 2022ACCOMPLISHMENTS • The Electric building has been scanned and a firm hired to do a concept for the building. • Ordered the first of the scheduled OH bucket trucks ordered. The second will be ordered Q1 2023. The third is planned to be ordered Q4 2023. • 2011 41’ Bucket truck. Truck was the 1st year of a new design and has required on-going repairs to the power train and the hydraulics. (ordered, to be delivered Spring of 2025) • 2003 55’ Bucket truck. Was rebuilt once already in 2012. (next to be ordered Q1 ’23, delivered Spring 2027) • 2001 Line Truck. (To be ordered Q4 ’23, estimated delivery Q3 of 2027)
