RESIDENTIAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY REBATE INCENTIVE PROGRAM APPLICATION Homeowner: Home Phone: Address: Cell Phone: Account No.: Apply Date: Inspect Date: Signature: Utility Rep: • Program Requirements • Program limited to single family homes served by the utility. • Homeowner must preapply for rebate and provide paid receipt to utility within 60 days of application. • Utility representative will verify each installation. • Homeowner is responsible for securing contractor(s) qualified to conduct improvements. HVAC Rebate • Must be Energy Star compliant • Must be central units only on primary dwelling • Must be an electric Air Conditioner or Heat Pump (dual fuel not eligible) • Must be installed new by a qualified contractor in the State of Georgia • Must be sized correctly (approximately 1 ton per 700 ft2) □ $250 for converting gas to Energy Star electric unit □ $100 for converting electric to Energy Star electric unit □ $100 for new home installation of Energy Star electric unit Appliance Rebate • Must be Energy Star compliant • New appliance must be connected and operational • Must be purchased in the State of Georgia (online purchases must be approved by C.E.S. representative) • Only 1 item in each category will qualify for a rebate □ $10 for Water Heater Blanket (R-6 or greater) □ $25 for Freezer □ $30 for Programmable Thermostat □ $30 for Room Air Conditioner □ $50 for Clothes Washer □ $50 for Dishwasher □ $50 for Refrigerator (Compact/Mini not eligible) □ $200 for Heat Pump Water Heater Home Performance Audit Rebate • Home Performance Audit must be completed by a BPI (Building Performance Institute) certified contractor in the State of Georgia. Return trip testing is required. • Home Performance Audit is not required to be eligible for duct sealing, air sealing, or insulation. • Duct sealing, air sealing, and/or insulation installation must be conducted by a qualified contractor. □ 50% up to $200 for Home Performance Energy Audit □ 50% up to $100 for Duct Sealing □ 50% up to $200 for Air Sealing □ 50% up to $200 for Insulation installation (attic, wall or floor)
