REQUEST FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given by the City and County of Butte-Silver Bow, Montana, that sealed bids for the Restoration of the Stained Glass Dome will be received up until 5:00 noon MST (Mountain Standard Time) on June 18, 2014, at: Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse Clerk and Recorders Office 155 W. Granite Street Butte, Montana 59701 Project Location is the Butte-Silver Bow County Courthouse, 155 W. Granite Street, Butte, Montana. This work shall consist of the removal, restoration and reinstallation of the Stained Glass Dome of the Courthouse. Bidders are required to personally visit and examine the project location. This may be done at the Pre-Bid Meeting, or via SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT ONLY. Do not arrive unannounced and without a previously scheduled appointment. If you choose to do a site visit independent of the Pre-Bid Meeting, send your request, via email, for an appointment to [EMAIL REDACTED]. Please specify the date and time being requested. A PDF copy of the Bid Document Packet is available via email at no charge from the Project Consultant. Send request via email: [EMAIL REDACTED]. Requests should be sent after May 5, 2014, and prior to June 18, 2014. A printed copy of the Bid Document Packet may be picked up at the Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse at the above address after May 5, 2014, and prior to June 18, 2014. There will be a $20.00 charge per printed Packet. All Submitted Bids must be hard copies of the official Bid Documents, five copies printed out and filled in completely, notarized where applicable, and mailed/delivered in a sealed envelope to the Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse address listed above. Bids in digital format or bids sent electronically will not be considered. The Bid Documents include a Summary of Bid Requirements. Make certain that all required documents are contained within the sealed Bid. Incomplete bids will be disqualified. Unsolicited materials videos, Power-Point presentations, portfolios, etc.) will not be considered as part of the Bid selection. The Owner reserves the right to request additional information if deemed necessary. A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. MST on May 30, 2014 at the project location: Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse. All interested Bidders are required to ---PAGE BREAK--- attend this meeting unless they have scheduled an appointment for a site visit and are logged in as having completed that visit prior to submitting a Bid. Bidders will become part of an email group so that they may receive Addenda pertaining to this Bid. Questions from Bidders should be directed to the Project Consultant via email. Answers to submitted questions will be considered Addenda and will be sent out simultaneously to the members of the email group.
