Burley Fire currently employs 9 full time line firefighters, 25 paid on call firefighters, a Chief and Deputy Chief. Burley Fire line staff operate on a 48/96 schedule including weekdays, weekends and all holidays. Schedule: ABOUT ---PAGE BREAK--- Retirement: Idaho PERSI Rule of 80 Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance: City pays 100% of premiums for employees, spouse and dependents. Dental and vision coverage is available at employee’s expense. Uniform/PPE All PPE is provided by the City. Employees are provided an annual budget of $500 for uniform costs. Physical The City provides an annual NFPA 1582 physical. BENEFITS & COMPENSATION Firefighter Position All salaries and benefits are per the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with IAFF Local 3308.
