Planning and Zoning Administrators’ Office 1559 Albion Avenue, Burley, Idaho 83318 February 25, 2026 1559 Albion Ave, Burley Idaho 83318 Page 1 PARKE AVENUE UTILITY AND ROAD REPLACEMENT PROJECT NOTICE OF UPCOMING SERVICE INTERUPTIONS AND PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE To all interested and affected parties, The City of Burley is moving forward with a utility line and road replacement project along Parke Avenue, spanning approximately from the intersection of 16th Street and Parke Avenue to the intersection of Pacific Drive and Parke Avenue. This project is designed to address the aging utility lines in this section of the city, where some line failures have already begun to occur. These aging lines need to be replaced before any major service interruptions occur due to material failure. During the timing of the project parts of Parke Avenue will be fully closed to accommodate the excavation, removal, and replacement of aging utility lines and then repaving of the road. All affected utility services should continue to be usable during the replacement, but temporary interruptions should be planned for. The total project is set to be completed no later than September 1st, 2026, the start of the project is not yet determined. The City of Burley acknowledges that this project will be a major disruption to a large number of individuals, businesses, and other entities and as such we would like to hear from you on how we can make this project as least disruptive as possible while still accomplishing the scope of the project. The City of Burley will be holding a Public Open House preceding this event to plan necessary workarounds for the public, and to address any questions or concerns. We invite all interested parties to attend this event which will be held on March 10th, 2026 at Burley City Hall at 1401 Overland Avenue, Burley, Idaho 83318, from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.
