Electric Department 2020 Park Ave Burley, Idaho 83318 [PHONE REDACTED] Job Description Sheet General Labor Position: Job Description: This job is a seasonal position. Working through the Spring, Summer and part of Fall depending on needs of department. Work shifts are typically between the hours of 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a one hour lunch break, but may have some additional or different time requirements. The specific duties of this job include but are not limited to: GENERAL LABOR DUTIES Assist full time electrical staff with day-to-day duties. Operate forklift, tamper, and power tools. Respond to requests for maintenance services, including sweeping, digging, loading and unloading trucks. Repair electrical and safety systems in the City as required. Ensure the workspaces are clean and free from litter and debris. Maintain clean vehicles by performing daily vehicle inspections and washing them on a weekly basis. Respond to request form City staff as needed. Pay schedule is on an hourly basis starting at $9.50 per hour. There are no other benefits with this job.
