Physical Addressing Requirements: Any entity applying for a building permit in Brown County must submit a site plan detailing setback, driveway and land feature information. Upon issuing a building permit Zoning officials will issue an official street address for the structure. Only residences and businesses will be assigned addresses. We cannot issue addresses to barns, sheds or other accessory buildings.
