GISMO/BGeoSurvReqs011304_table.doc BROOMFIELD GEODETIC SURVEY REQUIREMENTS ALL FINAL PLATS AND MINOR SUBDIVISIONS ¯ Surveyor please initial each item as completed 1. Show all distances in Modified State Plane measurements (in U.S. survey feet to the hundredth of a foot). Survey plat shall be prepared using State Plane grid distances modified to a mean project elevation above sea level and a mean scale factor for the project. Only one combined factor shall be used for the entire survey. All of the line distances shown on the plat shall be dimensioned using the above mentioned mean factor (said Modified State Plane distances). 2. The Basis of Bearing statement shall specify which 2 City of Broomfield GPS Control Points were selected to establish the State Plane grid bearings used for this survey plat. Specify the State Plane grid bearing and said Modified State Plane distances between these 2 GPS Control Points. 3. This document shall also contain a statement showing the modification factor (to 8 decimal places) needed to reduce the said Modified State Plane grid coordinates to State Plane values. 4. Closure report of platted area showing error of closure, (prior to any adjustment) not greater than 1 part in 10,000 parts per Broomfield Municipal Code 16-20-040 5. Show tie as dashed lines with bearings and said modified state plane distances to the following: • 2 corner points of this plat to the 2 nearest GPS Control Points located outside the project area (provided by the City of Broomfield Global Positioning Systems network monumentation information) and • 1 corner point of this plat to the Public Land Survey System (PLSS) monument used in this survey. 6. Label Latitude/Longitude (to the ten of a second), said Modified State Plane grid coordinates (in U.S. survey feet to the hundredth of a foot), and State Plane grid coordinates (in U.S. survey feet to the hundredth of a foot) Colorado Northern Zone (0501) State Plane (NAD 83/92) at: • the above mentioned 2 corner points of the plat, • the above mentioned 2 GPS Control Points used, and • the above mentioned PLSS monument used. 7. Provide a digital file of the project in dwg format, positioned correctly in said Modified State Plane grid coordinates as listed on this plat, with all bearings relative to the State Plane grid Basis of Bearing. 8. This document shall also include a statement describing the standard of accuracy, as defined by the National Ocean Survey/National Geodetic Survey, maintained in developing the coordinates shown therein, per C.R.S. 38- 52-106. The Colorado Coordinate System hereon shown is defined as order, Class 1:____,000 as described in the “Geometric Geodetic Accuracy Standards and Specifications for using GPS relative positioning techniques and/or Standards and Specifications for Geodetic Control Networks” by the Federal Geodetic Control Committee. All items above have been completed as required.
